General Meeting January 17, 2012

The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm by President Arsene VanVooren at the Barrister Gardens with 75 members in attendance.

A moment of silence was observed for deceased member Pat DeLaere.

Roland Deprez reviewed our financial report and Bob Grant reported membership at 281. There are 240 committed to attend to the Board party and about 70 still not paid for 2012.

Arsene VanVooren reported everything is set for the Board dinner. Trough Bowling is February 19th at Bath City Bistro from 3-6pm. The cost is $3.00 for those 12 and over. The Club furnishes the bowling, beer & pop. You are responsible for your food.

Vice-President Dale Verhaeghe introduced Travis Lanton, grandson of Camille DeSchutter as our guest. Dale also introduced membership applicant Bill DePauw, who was then sworn in by President VanVooren.

Band Chairman, Larry Mahieu now has tickets for their concert on March 31st for $23.00.

Norm Kay reported that Richard Gross had back surgery.

Bernie Allemon reported on the death of Pat DeLaere.

Our chefs, Gary and Chuck were serving sandwiches and veggies.

John Roelandt audited the books for November and December and found no problems.

President VanVooren presented the 2011 Man-of-the Year award to Julius Voet. Julius was selected for all of the times he has helped run the raffle. Congrats Julius!

The meeting was adjourned at 8:05pm.
