General Meeting February 15, 2011

The meeting was called to order by President Arsene VanVooren at 7:30pm at Barrister Gardens with 83 members in attendance.

Bob Grant reported membership is at 296 with 36 still not paid for 2011. He is taking the new directory to the printer this week. He should have them back by the March meeting.

President VanVooren recapped the Board dinner and received some complaints about the food. He will discuss the problem with the hall. Our feather bowling outing is on March 27th at Bath City Bistro from 2-5pm. The cost is $5.00 per person for those 13 years and over; 12 & under is free. This includes beer, pop and bowling; food is your responsibility.

Vice-President Dale Verhaeghe introduced Ken Millin, guest of John Vanek.

Larry Mahieu has tickets for the Band concert in April. The ticket fee is $22.00.

Norm Kay reported that Hank Boullard was out of the hospital and in attendance, and George DeGrippe was under the weather.

Frank Baecke reported that Butch DeSmet had joined the Retirees.

The kitchen crew was going to serve hot dogs, chili and chips for the lunch. Arsene was selling a new type of Belgian mustard; it seemed to be going over well.
