General Meeting December 21, 2010

The meeting was called to order at 7:35pm by President Arsene VanVooren at Barrister Gardens with 92 in attendance.

A moment of silence was observed for deceased members Charly Phlypo and Leon Huyghe.

Arsene spoke of the Children’s Christmas Party which was poorly attended due to the snowstorm that occurred that day. The Meet-the-Board dinner will be January 22nd at Barrister Gardens with the doors opening at 6:00pm, festivities at 6:30pm and dinner following at 7:00pm. Bob Grant is taking reservations now.

There were 3 guests at the meeting; they were Kevin Haezebrouk, & Alexander and Eric Huyghe.

The B.A.A. band will play at the Board dinner and tickets for their April concert will be available in January.

Ed Commyn and Ernie DeBaecke who had been in the hospital, were both at home and resting.

Chuck Myny reported that he is updating the website for 2011. Chuck was also collecting articles for the bulletin as he is now taking care of that.

Along with our lunch, the ladies from the Auxillary provided cookies for our dessert.

Rick Dauw reported the 2010 games winners are:

My wife Anne and I wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year. Hopefully I can continue to serve you for 2 more years, God willing.
