General Meeting August 17, 2010
The meeting was called to order at 7:35pm by President Arsene VanVooren with 88 members in attendance.
Arsene was taking names for the September 12th golf outing at Bello Woods. Arsene also announced that there will be no
softball game versus the Century Club due to lack of players from both clubs.
Larry Mahieu announced that the B.A.A. band will play at the St. Germaine Festival on Sunday, September 19th in the
afternoon.
Norm Kay announced that Bruce Baron, Ted Monahan, Marshall DeSmet and Dan Depauw, who had been hospitalized, were in
attendance; also that Casey Wolk and Mel Ferdinande were back in the hospital.
Scholarship Chairman Al VanDenBergh, Jr. asked that all applications be turned in by September 1st.
It was suggested that we have a change our type of entertainment at our Joint meetings. President VanVooren will look
into it further.
