Joint Meeting April 20, 2010
The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm by President Arsene VanVooren at the Barrister Gardens. A roll call of
Officers and Board members showed all present except Chuck & Jeff Horan, Al VanDenBergh Jr., & John Roelandt.
A motion was made and supported to dispense with the regular order of business.
Entertainment Chairman Arsene VanVorren spoke of the upcoming Casino trip; he was also taking names for the June golf
outing. He mentioned the July picnic at Blossom Heath and the Century Club has tickets to a Tiger game in September.

Band Chairman Larry Mahieu thanked all who attended their concert on April 17th.
President VanVooren made an announcement for the Ladies Auxillary. If any widow whose husband was a member of the
B.A.A. may join the Auxillary after their June 15th meeting.
Membership Chairman Dale Verhaeghe then introduced membership applicants Ben Allemon, who happens to be a 4th generation
Allemon and Jerry Dedere, who were then sworn in by President VanVooren.
Norm Kay reported that Frank Mahieu, Larry Allemon and Al DeHoorne who had all been on the sick list, were all in
attendance; also Bob Janes is at home recuperating.
In the absence of Father Jim Commyn, Carl Czupinski was asked to say grace. Mel Ferdinande, with the help of Dick,
Gary and Mike Huyghe then put on a delicious meal of Mulier’s roast beef and Toni Lams regular salad, potato salad
and homemade cakes along with mashed potatoes and gravy.
The dance music was provided by Jerry Robotka and group. Anniversary celebrants were Ted & Marion Westfall at 59 years
and Andre & Lydia Mestdagh with 56 years. Congratulations to both couples.
Drawing winners were: George Loosvelt, Bob Hison, Carol Ferdinande, Pat DeLaere, Ray Rudoni, Emma Mahieu,
David Vasquez, Margaret DeSmet, Rene Nuyts, Chuck LeFevre, Lou Danckaert, Don Vermeulen, Don Putrycus, Roland Snauwaert,
Marion Allemon, Hank Denolf, eon Huyghe and Bernie Allemon.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:00pm.
