General Meeting December 15, 2009
The B.A.A. held their monthly meeting at Barrister Gardens with 84 members who braved the icy elements on the road
to attend. President Arsene VanVooren called the meeting to order at 7:40pm. A moment of silence was observed for
deceased member Leo Lamote. Leo had been a member since 1998. He loved to play cards, especially Bien. He will be
missed by all.
Treasurer, Roland Deprez, read the November 2009 financial report. Bob Grant reported membership at 302 and was
collecting dues and guest fees for the January 23rd Meet-the-Board Party.
Arsene VanVooren reported that everything is ready for the children’s Christmas party. Ming the Magician will perform
and Santa Claus will make an appearance for the children.
The Meet-the-Board Party is set for January 23rd with the doors opening at 6:30pm and dinner will begin at 7:30pm.
The B.A.A. band will play from 6:30pm – 7:00pm.
