General Meeting June 16, 2009

The monthly meeting of the B.A.A. was held at Barrister Gardens. It was called to order by President Arsene VanVooren at 7:30pm. A roll call of Officers and Board members showed all present except Rick Dauw.

The financial report for May 2009 was read by Treasurer, Roland Deprez. Our membership, as reported by Bob Grant, stands at 307 with a few delinquent members.

President VanVooren reported that there were 56 golfers at the June outing with the winner being Jim DeSandre, followed by Mark Deckers and Dan Ferdinande. The next outing is September 13th at Bello Woods. See Arsene in July to sign up. It will be a best-ball format. Arsene reviewed the times for the July 12th picnic, which is from noon to 6pm. The card games start at 1pm; kids and adult games at 2pm; the band will play at 3pm and food will be served at 4pm. The Hazel Park outing is still not set because of our state’s economic conditions. Arsene hopes to have a solid answer soon. The softball game with the Century Club is September 20th beginning at 2pm at Kennedy Park in Eastpointe. Both the Halloween and Christmas parties will be at St. Gertrude’s
