General Meeting February 19, 2008

Prior to the start of the meeting, President Arsene Van Vooren called the Officers and Board members together to review the application for membership of Brian Hillewire. He was approved subject to the usual conditions. The B.A.A. held their monthly General Meeting at the Barrister Gardens with 90 members in attendance.

The Club received an acknowledgement from the Capuchin Monastery for the donation in memory of deceased member Robert Marshall. Treasurer, Roland Deprez, brought the membership up to date on our finances. Roland also filled in for vacationing Bob Grant and reported our membership at 301, but we still have about 30 members not paid for 2008

Norm Kay and his wife Maureen were on a cruise, so President Van Vooren brought us up-to-date on the Entertainment. Trough Bowling is March 30th at Bath City Bistro from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. with a cost of $7.00 for a pizza and salad buffet. The Club pays for the bowling, beer, and pop. The sign-up sheet for the proposed bowling league was at the bar.

The April Joint meeting will be held at the Barrister House. We will have mashed potatoes and also Toni Lams' delicious potato salad, regular salad and Toni's yummy cakes. The date for the 2009 Board Installation party is January 24th.
